The ATS Database team trends section is based on prior stats reflecting how certain sports teams performed in past handicapping situations against the point spread. In effect, there are two types of sports betting stats and trends on this page: you have Team Trends and System Trends. A team trend is when you have one team in an exact past situation. Example: When the Dallas Cowboys are a Home favorite playing in September. System Trend is when "ANY NFL team" is a Home favorite playing in September. Please note, betting trends can be a double-edge sword at times, as it could help or cloud your judgment when handicapping your games.
